"Growing Roses in Santa Clarita Valley"
A Handy Little Booklet for All Rose Lovers

       ****SOLD OUT****
Tentative reprint date is Fall 2010.

As part of our 10th Anniversary Rose Show celebration, the
Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society has published the revised
2nd Edition of their booklet Growing Roses in Santa Clarita
Valley, which includes all aspects of rose culture such as
planting, pruning, spraying, mulching, and fertilizing.

This edition has been updated from the 1st edition of 5 years
ago, and expanded with 20% more information. A section
has been added on types of roses, a handy index has been
added, the Minimalist Rose Care Calendar is now included,
and there are many new photos. Additionally, we have added
a chart of American Rose Society color classes, and there
are black & white photos throughout the book. The cover has been upgraded to include color photos of popular roses of all types, such as St. Patrick, Yolande d'Aragon, Sexy Rexy, and Golden Celebration. The inside back cover includes color photos of rose insects, diseases, and other rose maladies such as aphids, spider mites, mosaic virus, and powdery mildew.

The booklet is 48 pages, measures 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and is soft cover bound. The authors are Steve Jones and Kitty Belendez, who are Consulting Rosarians and Co-founders of the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society. We have printed a quantity of only 150, and they are numbered and signed by the authors.

The booklet can be purchased by mailing a check payable to SCVRS, to Kitty Belendez, 21133 Kingscrest Drive, Santa Clarita, CA 91350. The price to the public is $10, or $9 to SCVRS members, plus $1 for postage if you wish to have it mailed to you. All Proceeds go to the Santa Clarita Valley Rose Society.
