REVIEW OF OUR 2017 SPECTACULAR FALL ROSE SHOW IN MEMORY OF LYNN SNETSINGER
Our 2017 Rose Show at Hart Park was once again a great success. Although intense heat, rain, winds, and chilli thrips plagued many rose growers, our top exhibitors came through for us by bringing many beautiful roses.The hall was filled with roses and many visitors. A wonderful day indeed. We hope you enjoy the photos of our 24th Annual Rose Show. There were 15 teams of exhibitors who displayed the roses from their own gardens and made 405 entries. Exhibitors and members contributed hundreds of additional blooms that were made into beautiful bouquets for display in the exhibit hall. We had 12 judges, and 22 fantastic volunteers who helped to produce the show doing clerking, placement, membership, making bouquets, hospitality, setup and cleanup. Thanks to everyone that participated and helped to make our rose show a tremendous success. Special thanks to all of our generous trophy sponsors, and to the Los Angeles County Department of Parks & Recreation and their wonderful staff for letting us use this beautiful facility.
